when jon schmidt came to thatcher...

One time, Jon Schmidt, the amazing pianist, came to Thatcher Arizona. (I am not even kidding.) After playing many great and wonderful songs with various parts of his body, (my favorite time was probably when he was banging on the keys with his head) he did a back flip off of the stage- I kid you not- and it was amazing and great as well. Then, after I thought that the night couldn't get any better, I actually got to meet and shake hands with Mr. Brother Schmidt!

This is me, waiting to meet THE Jon Schmidt.

Here is Jon Schmidt from the paparazzi point of view.

Here is me and Jon Schmidt-he doesn't know that this picture is being taken.

Here is the whole group and, of course, Jon Schmidt.

sleepy journal

Most of the time, sleep is a nonexistent thing in my life. There is always somewhere to see and people to go (or something like that). Furthermore, I am almost always sleep-deprived. This leads me to being slightly confuzzled more often than not. My twin Shelby has the same problem and we often find ourselves writing nonsensical notes (only the very privileged are allowed to read THAT) or taking ridiculous pictures... it is a bad habit to get into and I really don't reccomend it.

Hooray for Cacti!

Since I moved to the state of Arizona, one of my new favorite things is Cacti. I just really love how they look and everytime I see one, I have the overwhelming desire to touch it. Fortunately, there is usually someone there to stop me... with the exception of the time that I came across this giant Siguaro cactus. It took us weeks to get rid of
all the spines! Well, that may not be true...

One time Joycie, the Dutch-child, Shae ,my roommate, and me had a cleaning party while we listened to the Enchanted sound track.
It was a party and a half for sure! (Please note the shiney-clean spot in the shower where I scrubbed and scrubbed.)
